One longtime NBA coach, who coached in 16 straight postseasons, believes Edwards is the closest thing he's ever seen to Michael Jordan and the late Kobe Bryant.

Yes, you read that right. Basketball coaches and experts believe Edwards is set to become the new face of the NBA.

"Have an @NBA friend who coached in 16 straight playoffs, including a couple times against MJ. Says Anthony Edwards is the closest thing he’s seen to MJ & Kobe in his lifetime. At 22 years old, he’s in that conversation," said ESPN's Fran Fraschilla.

Anthony Edwards has a chance to do something special in the Timberwolves current NBA Playoff series vs. the Nuggets. If he can knock out the defending champs, who have home court advantage, he'll have the basketball world buzzing.

There's no reason Edwards and the Timberwolves can't win the NBA title this season. They have all the pieces, especially thanks to their length in the post with Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns. And if Naz Reid continues to play at a high level, Minnesota will be unbeatable.
