Paul Pierce's Finger Injury Is Blowing Up Online

Paul Pierce is the talk of the NBA world on Friday after the NBA legend revealed the gruesome finger injury he recently suffered.

The Boston Celtics icon took to his Instagram Story to share that he's in a hospital for surgery after injuring a couple of fingers. Pierce also shared a photo of his injured fingers, which are pretty graphic.

One photo showed what appears to be his right ring finger wounded. A close-up photo that Pierce uploaded showed the side of the finger busted wide open.

Pierce further wrote on his post, "I'm good by the way just broke a couple fingers gonna have surgery on one."

While the former NBA star-turned-media personality didn't go into detail about what happened, it's clearly a serious matter by looking at the state of his fingers.

The fact that Pierce was still able to take a photo of himself in hospital and share an update suggests that he's at least doing good mentally and there should be no major concerns about his well-being.

But sure enough, many will still worry about him. Not to mention the curious minds who want to know what happened.
