Patrick Mahomes' Five-Word Message to Jamal Murray After Nuggets Take Down Lakers

Jamal Murray has done it again. The Denver Nuggets star, who somehow has never been named an NBA All-Star, hit a game-winner in Game 5 Monday night to punch LeBron James and the Lakers out of the postseason.

Murray seems to take his game to another level every time the Nuggets battle the Lakers. He drained a buzzer-beating game-winner in Game 2 to give Denver a 2-0 series lead. Three games later, he did it again.

Murray hit a jumper with just a few seconds left to win the series for Denver.

Patrick Mahomes sent Murray a five-word message after his improbable shot.

"Great game! Big time shot! #NBAPlayoffs ," Mahomes said .

Jamal Murray will forever be public enemy No. 1 in Lakers land. He's a stone-cold assassin vs. Los Angeles.

Murray seemed to be at his best when he got a defensive switch and had Anthony Davis on him. Despite Davis's length, Murray was always able to somehow drain a mid-range jumper over Davis's outstretched arms, and he made those shots when it hurt the Lakers the most.

It's going to be a long offseason in Los Angeles.
