MPD: Two arrested after shots fired in apartment building hallway
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Police took two people into custody after shots were fired Monday night in an apartment building hallway, the Madison Police Department reported. Officers responded around 9:10 p.m. to the 2500 block of Monterey Drive, on Madison’s north side, and discovered evidence that a shooting had happened. MPD explained officers went to an address in the East Police District to speak with the victim. It is unclear if the individual is hurt.

Middleton man arrested after alleged assault on UWPD officers
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A 19-year-old Middleton man was arrested Saturday after allegedly assaulting four University of Wisconsin Police officers, UWPD said. Around 8:00 p.m., UWPD officers responded to Memorial Library for a report of an intoxicated man in the lobby. The officers found the man seated in the corner of the lobby, substantially intoxicated, police said.
