Toledo's first DQ Grill & Chill set to open
Toledo is getting its first upgraded Dairy Queen, with the opening Monday of a DQ Grill & Chill at 5741 Lewis Ave. The new West Toledo eatery is the first of the re-designed Dairy Queen restaurants to open in the Toledo area. DQ Grill & Chills offer made-to-order lunch and dinner options including StackBurgers, Chicken Strip Baskets, and hot sandwiches along side the classic Dairy Queen soft-serve favorites such as cones, sundaes, and the signature Blizzard Treat. The new restaurant will be owned and operated by Todd and Rania Haidous, alongside Jameleh and Ahmad Moukalled. This location marks the Haidous family’s eleventh DQ in the Midwest, with locations spread across Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
New Dairy Queen set to open in west Toledo
