UM-Flint will house new high school
FLINT, Mich. (WNEM) - The University of Michigan-Flint (UM) will be housing the Flint Cultural Center Academy’s (FCCA) new high school at its Northbank Center starting in the fall. The university said it entered a three-year lease agreement to help make the the FCCA’s new venture become reality.

New Grand Blanc Block Party slate brings summer events to high school
GRAND BLANC, MI – A collaboration between the school district, city, township and chamber of commerce in Grand Blanc will bring four “block party” events this summer. The free Grand Blanc Block Parties will take place over four Thursday nights throughout the summer with local live bands, family-friendly movie showings and food trucks, among other activities.

GRAND BLANC, MI -- Flushing and Grand Blanc boys went head to head in the MHSAA division 1 regional semifinal baseball game. Flushing was quick to score in the first inning with one run. The Grand Blanc Bobcats followed up with a huge inning in the fourth leading by a home run by Nathan Fidelino (23) that gave them a 3-1 lead.
