In the quiet early hours of November 23, a tragic incident unfolded in the Atco section of Camden County's Waterford Township, New Jersey. Christofe 'Christopher' Wita, aged 44, was fatally struck by a police vehicle driven by Sgt. Richard Sbarra of the Waterford Township Police Department. The accident happened around 2:19 a.m. on the White Horse Pike near Whispering Pine Drive, with the officer being on duty at the time.
