Sandusky Names Spring Sports Coaches
James Minard is hanging up his cleats this season as he passes the Sandusky Baseball head coaching position torch to Ryan Drabant. MDOT: $26.4M in road work coming to Sanilac County
The Michigan Department of Transportation is inviting the public to an open house to learn more about upcoming projects in Sanilac County. The open house will provide information on a $26.4 million investment to rebuild and improve M-46 and M-19 in Sanilac County. Starting in March, work will be done on M-46 from Maple Valley Street in Sandusky up to the Carsonville west village limit, and on M-19 from Miller Road to M-46.

New play equipment headed to Kingston school
KINGSTON — An upgrade is in the works for an outdoor space at a local elementary school. Earlier this winter, Kingston Elementary School received a $10,000 grant to buy outdoor playspace equipment at the Cardinal Center Day Care facility. The grant money comes from the Future Youth Involvement Fund of the Tuscola County Community Foundation.
Attorney general charges Burtchville woman with embezzlement, tax fraud
A Burtchville Township woman has been charged with embezzlement and tax fraud for reportedly spending inheritance funds while her right to it was being legally disputed. Lisa Tramski, 56, became guardian to Pauline Runyon in March 2018. According to a probable cause affidavit filed in the case, Runyon died two months later. A week before her death, she executed a new will, reportedly drafted by Tramski, leaving everything she owned to Tramski.

KEARSLEY, Mich. (WJRT) - Da'Kari Neely scored 19 points to lead Kearsley to a district championship win over Croswell-Lexington, 45-42. With the win, the Hornets set a school record with 19 wins on the season. The district title is the first for Kearsley in 50 years.
