AURORA | The offense the Grandview girls soccer team has been working on for the entire season came through in a big way to open the Class 5A state playoffs. The 13th-seeded Wolves had been kept off the scoreboard in two of their last three regular season contests — both against outstanding opponents — but they followed that by scoring their second-most goals of the season Tuesday evening in a 6-0 win over No. 20 Adams City.
HEAD 2024 Organizes Gear Testing for New Race Skis and Boots in Vail and Mt. Hood
HEAD is excited to unveil the latest race skis and boots for the coming 2024/25 season. Building on a stellar performance in the 2023/24 season, HEAD reaffirms its dominance in the Alpine Ski World Cup. Lara Gut-Behrami’s outstanding performance secured the coveted Crystal Globe for the overall World Cup title. In addition, the Swiss athlete claimed two more Crystal Globes in the giant slalom and super-G events. Adding to the glory, Cornelia Hütter from Austria claimed the downhill Crystal Globe. In total, the HEAD World Cup Rebels proudly attained the top step of the podium a remarkable 17 times this season, with an also impressive tally of 22 second-place finishes and 17 third-place finishes.

Anthony said his trip to Edwards Elementary’s third-grade class was one of the best school visits he’s had in his 29 years of using skiing to bring teaching tools into the classroom and educate kids.
