HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A family member of a young couple involved in a deadly crash in Halifax County is speaking out. Virginia State Police says that Soriah Lunt and her husband Matthew McCubbins were hit head-on by a Jeep while driving on Route 501 on November 18. Lunt died at the scene and McCubbins suffered torn ligaments to his elbow and knee.
