A South Boston dog kennel owner, previously charged with animal cruelty, has struck a deal that has landed him two years on probation. Tyler Falconer, 31, former proprietor of Falco K9, accepted a continuance without a finding on two counts of animal cruelty on Wednesday, thereby avoiding a definitive conviction, provided he adheres to the court's conditions.
Greenville man convicted in fatal drunken driving crash
A Greenville man was sentenced to a maximum of nearly 10 years in prison after jury found him guilty of charges in a wreck that killed a Macon woman and injured two others. Brandon Creighton, 38, of 2204 Jefferson Drive was sentenced to 80-118 months in prison on April 19, the Pitt County District Attorney’s Office said. New drop-in daycare opens downtown
HENDERSON — The Community Uplift Project opened its drop-in daycare with a ribbon cutting on Thursday afternoon. The term “drop-in” is nearly literal as parents can leave kids at the facility on 105 South Garnett for up to four hours at a time. Owner Tiffany has had the space leased out since July — now, it’s complete with decals on the windows.
