Man arrested, charged in Littleton restaurant shooting
Littleton police, with assistance of several agencies today, arrested a man wanted in a shooting death Sunday morning which occurred during a DJ night at a Mexican restaurant. Chief Phillip Trivette said warrants had been taken out on 26-year-old Lavonte Taylor Wednesday for felony murder and felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

VDOT Announces road closure
The Virginia Department of Transportation will have to close Route 628, Clifton Road for emergency pipe repairs beginning Thursday, September 28, 2023. Weather permitting the repairs should be completed by Friday, October 20, 2023. The road will be closed between Route 636, Kress Road and Route 616, Lew Jones Road. A signed detour will be provided.
