Grateful Crane to Host Far East Feast
The Grateful Crane Ensemble and Chef John Nishio will present the Far East Feast on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Nishio residence, 645 Rim Rd., Pasadena. The event offers good old Cantonese-style “Chinameshi” dishes such as pressed almond duck, homyu, pakkai, chow mein, chashu, ginger beef, shrimp with lobster sauce, and more. Nishio has re-created all the family favorites from the Far East Cafe in Little Tokyo.
