After the top selection, the Bears will continue to be an intriguing team to monitor on opening night as the team is also in possession of the ninth overall pick in the draft. The Bears are widely expected to either draft a wide receiver, offensive lineman, or defensive lineman with their second pick in the first round.

The most popular name on various mock drafts with the Bears' second pick has been Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze, whom Bears' fans would love to see land in Chicago alongside Williams on opening night.

The two have already started it off on the right foot ahead of the draft. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero , Odunze has recently caught passes from Williams along with Bears wide receivers DJ Moore and Keenan Allen.

Afterwards, Williams revealed on social media that the two ran into each other again while boarding the same plane headed to the draft in Detroit.

While at the NFL Scouting Combine, Odunze was jokingly asked if he could land a plane in an emergency situation, to which he replied "we are all going down, all souls are perished." Odunze replied to Williams post while on the plane in a playful manner letting everyone know he plans on getting Williams to Detroit safely. And yes, the two have arrived in Detroit with no issues.

Both players will be in attendance during the first round on Thursday anxiously awaiting Roger Goodell calling their names in front of the entire world.

It's anyone’s guess what will happen after the first pick of the draft but many people on social media are already hoping that today's flight will be the first of many that Williams and Odunze will share together.
