Troopers responded to the crash shortly before 1 p.m. on Monday, May 6 at milepost 12.5 in Deptford Township, according to New Jersey State Police. Based on a preliminary investigation, a BMW passenger vehicle was traveling southbound on Route 42 when the driver lost directional control and struck the guardrail, State Police said.

Woman arrested after visit to state prison
Coal Township, Pa. — A woman who was attempting to visit an inmate at the State Correctional Institution at Coal Township was arrested after officers discovered she had drugs on her. Bahtia A. Greene, 31, of Philadelphia, went to visit an inmate on April 19 at SCI-Coal Township when a drug canine alerted staff to the possible presence of narcotics, according to Trp. Wilmington woman charged with stealing clothes from Newark-area Kohl's
A Wilmington woman is out on bail after she allegedly stole more than 2100 dollars' worth of clothing from a Newark-area department store. 37-year-old Lamir Herris walked out of a Kohl's store on Route 40 with the merchandise Friday afternoon, and when a trooper spotted her with the stolen stuff in the parking lot of a nearby Wawa, she ran, Delaware State Police said.
