Friday night lights: Big Ten announces schedule change for Nebraska-Illinois matchup
LINCOLN, Neb. — The Huskers will be playing under the Friday night lights at Memorial Stadium this fall. The Big Ten announced that Nebraska's game against Illinois will be moved to Friday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m., and will be broadcast on Fox. The game was previously scheduled for Sept. 21.

2026 QB announces Husker camp plans
Recruits' camping schedules continue to pop up. Rees Wise, a 2026 quarterback prospect with a Nebraska offer, announced his plans on social media, which includes camping in Lincoln on June 7. He plans to hit Texas the night before and follow his trip to Nebraska by camping with Wisconsin, Texas A&M, Alabama and TCU.
Harper Murray Posts Apology After Citations
Nebraska Volleyball star Harper Murray was cited Thursday in a shoplifting incident from earlier this month. Lincoln Police said officers were called to Scheels Sporting Goods off 30th Street and Pine Lake Road on May 3 on a shoplifting case from the previous day. Police said employees reviewed surveillance video which showed what they believed was 19-year-old Murray concealing merchandise in her pockets and not paying for it. After she left the store, police said she was spotted removing the items from her pockets while sitting in the driver’s seat of her vehicle in the parking lot.
