ST. IGNACE, MI – A vintage warbird squadron will fly over the Upper Peninsula near Mackinac Bridge during Memorial Day weekend, officials announced. The Scream’n Rebels, a squadron of T-6 Texans led by a BT-13 Valiant, will perform a ceremonial flyover over downtown St. Ignace at noon on Saturday, May 25, according to a news release from the St. Ignace Visitors Bureau.

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI -- A six-person jury convicted a Sault Ste. Marie woman on a charge of assault and battery after the woman cut the hair of a 9-year-old girl without permission.
