Killington Stage Race
After a one year hiatus, the Killington region welcomes the return of the 25th edition of this legendary New England stage race which started back in 1987. For 2024, the plan is to have at least six stage race fields depending on interest. Stage 1 is an thrilling circuit race that will take racers by President Calvin Coolidge’s birthplace and “Vermont summer White House.” Stage 2 is a classic and challenging hilly road race with a 5.5-mile, 1550 foot climb to the finish. Stage 3 provides a rare long ITT over 11 miles which has made for some thrillingly close final GC battles. We hope you can visit beautiful Vermont over Memorial Day weekend to spectate or compete in this year’s event!
Killington Rec’s new Street Hockey League welcomes new players each week
The first week in the Killington Street Hockey League, Sunday, April 21, the Fireballs topped the Meteors with a single goal late in sudden death overtime. Rutland’s Liam Bradley scored to take his team to victory. Both teams played each other very tight the entire game with a few missed opportunities on each end.
