Man guilty of drug-induced homicide in Christian County
KINCAID, Ill. (WICS) — A Christian County man pleaded guilty to the charge of attempted drug-induced homicide. Bradley P. Graham was sentenced to nine years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by one year of mandatory supervised release, with credit for time served of 286 days. Graham also has to pay a $10,000 fine.

Khaliq R. Snow, age 29 0f Greenville, was recently sentenced to time in the Illinois Department of Corrections in a Bond County criminal case. Snow was given six years in state prison on a charge of criminal sexual assault, which occurred August 23 of last year. Three other counts of criminal sexual assault were dismissed by the state under the plea agreement.

The Carlinville City Council held a brief meeting on Mon. Feb. 19. Several issues were discussed, including a budget review and the resignation of a Police Officer. A matter of correspondence came from the Charity Baptist Pathfinders group. Each year the Pathfinders carry a wooden cross from Boente Shell to the Carlinville Square as a visual representation of Good Friday. They then read some Bible verses pertaining to the walk.
