DUI suspect driving without headlights refuses to provide breath sample

A Leesburg man was arrested for DUI after driving with his lights off and becoming uncooperative when stopped for it. A deputy on patrol observed 32-year-old Paul Arron Knotts driving a black pickup truck without lights in Leesburg around 10:55 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. A traffic stop was initiated near the intersection of Gray Street and Southgate Avenue.

Villager completes anger management after attack on dog walker

A Villager has completed an anger management course after attacking a dog walker in his neighborhood. Robert Joseph Troller, 62, of the Village of Lake Denham, had been charged with misdemeanor battery stemming from the March 19 incident on Kenneth Street.
