NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man wanted in a violent robbery that occurred in broad daylight last month in Brooklyn, authorities said.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, a 44-year-old man was inside 1276 Fulton St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant when he was approached by the suspect.

The victim was attempting to purchase food when the suspect proceeded to repeatedly punch the victim in the face and take $120 from him.

The suspect then fled the location on foot, eastbound on Fulton Street, to parts unknown.

The victim sustained minor injuries to the face and EMS transported him to Brooklyn Hospital in stable condition.

The sought individual is described as a male with a dark complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a red sweater, multi-colored scarf, winter hat, light blue ripped jeans, and white sneakers.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
