College football fans weren't buying Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio's take on Colorado's 2024 spring game.

On Sunday, Florio suggested Colorado head coach Deion Sanders had lost the support of the Buffaloes fan base after the team's spring game drew a significantly smaller crowd than last season.

In Sanders' first spring game in 2023, a program-record 47,000 fans showed up. On Saturday, 28,424 fans attended, which was still the second-most in Colorado spring game history.

"The bloom is off the rose in Boulder," wrote Florio.

Of course, with windy, wet and cold conditions in the area, Colorado's ability to draw 28,424 fans was still impressive.

Several fans responded to Florio's article to let him know.

"28k in that weather? That's a great turnout," responded one fan.

"Bruh, it's more then what they had before Deion got there," replied another.

"Wow can’t believe they had the second highest attendance in CU spring game history how horrible," wrote another commenter.
