MAT industries expansion to bring 85 more jobs to Jackson

MAT Industries plans to create 85 new jobs as the company expands its manufacturing operation in Jackson, officials recently announced. The project at 213 Industrial Drive in Madison County represents the next phase of the company's growth at the facility. The expansion is expected to add a production line designed to increase manufacturing capacity and output. “One of the greatest measures of a community's economic development success is when the companies already here continue to invest and grow. MAT Industries is a great example of that success, and we're proud to celebrate another round of job creation in Madison County. We value our longstanding relationship with MAT Industries and appreciate their continued commitment to our community and the people who call it home," Madison County Mayor AJ Massey said. The company's recent announcement follows an earlier expansion made in June 2025 that included a $9 million investment and plans for 30 new jobs.
