According to the American Psychological Association, pubescent years ignite a switch in children’s circadian clocks that makes it harder for students to fall asleep until later in the night. This shift ultimately leads to fewer sleep hours for students who must wake up early five days a week, which can quickly diminish their work ethic and academic quality.
