Motor Vehicle Burglaries Reported to Bernardsville Police

BERNARDSVILLE, NJ - The Bernardsville Police Department is investigating several motor vehicle burglaries that were reported to police.  On May 4th, 2024 at approximately 4:43 A.M. the Bernardsville Police Department responded to Liberty Road on the report of a motor vehicle burglary.  A subsequent investigation revealed that an unknown individual stole approximately $300.00 worth of personal property from the vehicle in question.  Patrol officers canvassed the area where they located two additional motor vehicle burglaries nearby on West Street.  The victim reported that their credit card was utilized shortly after and it was believed to have been stolen from the vehicle.

The incident remains under investigation by the Bernardsville Police Department Detective Bureau.  Anyone with information or video of suspicious activity during the time period in question are asked to contact the Police Department at 908-766-0037.
