Ann Arbor settles injury claim from police-involved crash for $45K, plus 2 other disputes
ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor has agreed to settle an injury claim from a police-involved traffic crash for $45,000. City Council voted Thursday night, Nov. 5, to approve the settlement with Tina Khoshkhoo, while also resolving two other separate legal disputes involving Briarwood Mall’s redevelopment and affordable housing charges.

Ann Arbor's iconic Blimpy Burger reopens under new ownership
After seven months of temporary closure, the iconic Ann Arbor restaurant Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger has reopened under new ownership. Blimpy opened in 1953 and has had two previous owners. Its four new local co-owners are Ethan Kaplan, Noah Kaplan, Pete Levin and Doug Botsford. Botsford admits the community is adapting to some changes at the restaurant.
