Harford County fatal shooting suspect indicted
EDGEWOOD, MD—The Harford County Sheriff’s Office has announced an indictment in connection with a homicide that occurred in Edgewood in 2021. At just after 11:45 p.m. on June 9, 2021, deputies responded to a reported shooting in the 6200-block of Edgewood Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an adult male, identified as Jarmil Christopher Stewart, 20, of Edgewood, suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body. Stewart was pronounced dead at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.
