USD 266 stands out as only district with a 4×4 schedule
The USD 266 high schools and middle schools are the only schools in Kansas that are on a 4×4 block schedule. This schedule was implemented at the high schools in the 1996/1997 school year after Maize High School changed to the current school building and started in the middle schools in the 2020/2021 school year.

In its first year back in 5A, No. 2 Kapaun has done nothing short of domination. The Lebo Wolves are moving on in the 8-Man Division II state football playoffs after rolling to a 46-0 victory over Hutchinson Central Christian Friday night in Lebo. Marymount College Documentary to Premeiere
A documentary film about Marymount College, which opened in 1922 and closed in June 1989, is set to premiere. Salina Media Connection’s premiere of “Legacy on the Hill: The Marymount College Story” will be shown Thursday, November 12, at 9:00 p.m. at the Salina Art Center Cinema Theatre.
