Police say video shows a suspect with a face covering shatter the glass on the front door and enter the store with bolt cutters in hand. Police say the thief left with over $500 in cash from four gaming machines inside. Damage to the door is estimated at $2,000.

A Salina teen is facing a number of drug related charges after he allegedly fired a pistol into the air. According to Police Sergeant Kyle Tonniges, officers were sent to the 700 block of Fairdale just after midnight on Thursday. Police say a fight in a parking lot may have sparked the gunshot – and a group of people then ran from the scene.

No one was injured after a vehicle fire on Saturday evening. Deputies report the owner of a 2004 Ford Ranger was sitting in the vehicle warming it up in the parking lot at Stryten Energy in the 400 block of E. Berg Road.
