Police: Witnesses not cooperating in Kansas murder investigation
SEDGWICK COUNTY —Wichita police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that left a woman dead. Just before 9:30p.m., police responded to report of a walk-in shooting victim at local hospital, according to Police Captain Aaron Moses. Jadidiah Ponce, 21, arrived had arrived with a gunshot wound at the hospital and died of her injuries, according to Moses.
Wichita woman dies from gunshot wounds at local hospital
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Wichita Police Department said a woman injured in a shooting Wednesday night has died from her injuries. During a briefing on Thursday, Capt. Aaron Moses said 21-year-old Jadidah Ponce arrived at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis with gunshot wounds. She later died at the hospital.

WICHITA, Kan. (KCTV) - A former Kansas doctor has been sentenced to a decade in prison for his role in the opioid crisis through an illegitimate pain prescription scheme. The U.S. District Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas announced on Friday, May 24, that Steven R. Henson, 63, of Wichita, a former physician, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for an illegal pain medication operation.

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - The Wichita Police Department said a shooting at a massage parlor in southeast Wichita Wednesday afternoon was the result of an attempted armed robbery. Wednesday afternoon police responded to a shooting at Beijing Massage near Lincoln and George Washington Blvd. When they got there they found 44-year-old Robexy Figueroa dead with several gunshot wounds.
