*** Chad Simmons is on the road and he’ll be checking in on Wayne County 2025 LB Tavion Wallace later this morning. I am expecting Georgia’s staff to be by there later this week as well. Wallace recently set a commitment date for July 15 with fellow finalists Arkansas, Florida, Florida State and LSU. At 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, he ran a 10.7 100-meter last week. Georgia is recruiting him heavily, and he’s somebody they would love to add to this class if they can. I am telling you, the ILB class around the country is picking up steam, and the depth is showing up more and more. A lot to like with Wallace.

*** I am expecting Georgia WR coach James Coley to be out in Las Vegas on Tuesday to check in on four-star WR Derek Meadows . The 6-foot-5 Bishop Gorman prospect is set to take an official visit to Georgia on the weekend of June 7.

*** Talked to the McEachern staff asking about their practice schedule this week and they let me know they are expecting Mike Bobo today or tomorrow to see their 2026 RB Jayreon Campbell . He has picked up 10+ P5 offers in the last few weeks. He’s another in-state RB to know for the Class of 2026 along with Jonaz Walton from Central-Carrollton. I LOVE WALTON, and he ran 10.6 100 meter last week at 200+ pounds. UGA is all in there as well.

*** Georgia defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann was at Schley County yesterday to see Zayden Walker . He’s somebody Georgia has been recruiting for quite some time, and the two know each other well. I think South Carolina is going to be the biggest competition for the five-star LB with his brother ( Jalewis Solomon ) being there. Walker takes an early OV to Georgia (May 31), and I’m interested to see what we hear after that visit. I think the Bulldogs have been in a good position here for a while, but this is not over by any means.
