FHP: Marion County hit-and-run kills 84-year-old on motorized scooter, seriously injures cyclist
SILVER SPRINGS SHORES, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a hit-and-run crash that killed an 84-year-old on a motorized scooter Saturday. According to FHP, the incident occurred at 10:56 p.m. in a dark area with no lighting on Spring Road. FHP says a pedal-cyclist was towing a motorized scooter with the 84-year-old occupant going east on the road.
Villager sentenced to state prison after ripping off her employer
