Alachua County purchases Sunrise Residence Inn from St. Francis House
The Alachua County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to purchase the Sunrise Residence Inn from St. Francis House. The county will purchase the property for $1.95 million, which was St. Francis House’s asking price. The board will pay a $150,000 deposit to execute the contract and another $150,000 deposit within 90 days. The rest of the money will be due within 30 days of the final deposit.
