TxDOT ‘Know Before You Go’ report for the week of April 15

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation Amarillo Division reported the upcoming lane closures for the week of April 15.

According to TxDOT, the following road closures for the week of April 15 include:

Tuesday

• Expect various lane closures on I-40 westbound at the I-27 interchange for bridgework. The work is expected to take two weeks to complete.

Throughout the Week

• Officials said to residents should expect various lane closures in both directions of US 60 outside of Hereford near Caviness Beef Packers. Crews will be constructing intersection improvements at this location. The work is expected to take three months to complete.

Officials asked drivers to go cautiously and reduce speed through all work zones. Further, officials noted that project plans may change due to weather, emergency work, or unexpected events.
