Two People Injured in Crash Near Runnells Wednesday
(Runnells, IA) -- Two people are recovering after a crash near Runnells pushed one vehicle into a creek bed. The Polk County Sheriff's Office says reports of the two-vehicle crash came in around 7pm Wednesday. They say it appears an SUV was rear-ended and pushed off the road into the creek bed. It took crews about 10 minutes to rescue the SUV driver, and the drivers of both vehicles were taken to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.

DES MOINES, Iowa — A Des Moines woman has been arrested on human trafficking charges and police say three victims have been rescued following a months-long investigation.
