Crews respond to school bus issue
CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) - Crews responded today to a Chippewa Yellow Bus Company bus that had to pull over because of mechanical issues. According to the Chippewa Fire District, on May 2 at about 11:15 a.m., it responded to the report of a school bus that had to pull over near the Seymour Cray exit in Chippewa Falls.
Sentencing delayed in drug, stalking case
CHIPPEWA FALLS — Sentencing has been delayed for a Chippewa Falls man convicted in February of possessing amphetamines, stalking, child neglect and theft. Mark A. CHIPPEWA FALLS — A rural Chippewa Falls woman has been sentenced to serve three years in prison for selling a variety of drugs out of her home. Trish M. Lloyd, 44, 12462 102nd Ave., pleaded guilty in November in Chippewa County Court to two counts of the manufacture and delivery of amphetamines. Other charges including maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of prescription drugs and marijuana with the intent to deliver, and possessing drug paraphernalia, were read-in and dismissed. ...
