The City of Statesboro is accepting applications for appointments to its Tree Board. The Tree Board appointment is a three-year term. The Tree Board meets once a month. The deadline to apply to be considered for an appointment is May 3, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Completed applications should be submitted to the office of the City Clerk by email to leah.harden@statesboroga.gov or in person at City Hall 50 East Main Street. Two upcoming community baby showers celebrate and inform new parents
Two community baby showers are taking place in Statesboro this spring. The first event is this Saturday, April 27, 2024, and the next one is Saturday, May 4, 2024. Both events are free and will offer expecting parents or resources, information, and lots of giveaways to help them welcome their new additions to the community. Restoring the Breach and Amerigroup, Inc. are hosting a free community baby shower on April 27, 2024 at the Russell Union Ballroom on the Georgia Southern University campus from 11am to 2pm.
