Driver hospitalized after wind blows semi over on Interstate 70
DICKINSON COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Saturday in Dickinson County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Freightliner semi driven by Navjodh Singh, 34, Sacramento, California, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of Chapman. The driver changed lanes to avoid a downed tree limb on the highway. The wind blew semi over.

DICKINSON COUNTY—A Kansas man injured in an accident during a police chase that occurred just after 11:30a.m. Friday in Dickinson County is out of the hospital and in jail. City of Salina approves receiving $22 million federal grant for Smoky Hill River Renewal
Years of hard work, dedication and hope has finally led to real, perceivable progress happening with the Smoky Hill River Renewal Project. After approval by the Salina City Commission Monday, a Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant will see more than $22 million of funding coming to the project from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
