Pizza company chooses quality over rising costs
Mehmet B Eker started his career and passion in cooking over 16 years ago. His love for cooking started in Brooklyn New York at an international independant cuisine restaurant and expanded from there. In 2016, Eker's opened up Pizza Marsala Monroeville. From that day, Eker orders and uses most fresh ingrendients from flour to cheese. His chefs make their sauces and dough all from scratch sharing the ingredients and preparation with the chef at each Pizza Marsala location at one time.

Judge bans Derry woman from owning pets for 7 years after caged dog dies of dehydration
A Derry Borough woman is forbidden from having any pets during her seven-year probation term for allowing a dog to die of dehydration in her basement. Judge Christopher Feliciani said Destiny F. Witherspoon, 27, left the dog, named Dallas, alone locked in a cage while she dropped off two other dogs with a pet sitter during an out-of-town trip.
Kennywood's Thunderbolt celebrates its 100th season
