Arrest made after man is found shot dead, wrapped in plastic in McKeesport apartment
Allegheny County police said they have made an arrest in the shooting death of a 36-year-old man in McKeesport. Watch our original report in the video player above. Police said they were called to an apartment along Evans Avenue just after 9 p.m. on May 1. Dispatchers had received a call that a man was dead inside that apartment, wrapped in plastic.
Allegheny Co. Council approves raising minimum wage to $20 per hour for county employees
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Allegheny County Council has voted to increase minimum wage for county employees to $20 per hour.The Tribune-Review reported the passing of the legislation on Tuesday evening.There would be incremental increases over a several year period.Starting next year, pay would increase to $18 per hour and then to $19 per hour in 2025.Hourly minimum pay would move to $20 per hour in 2026.The bill likely faces opposition from County Executive Rich Fitzgerald.

Some Allegheny County employees could see a wage increase thanks to a new minimum age wage bill that passed Tuesday evening. Allegheny County Council voted 10-4 to pass a bill that would set $20 an hour as the minimum wage for county workers by 2026. There would be incremental increases to $18 an hour next year and to $19 an hour in 2025.

Stabbing Incident Under Investigation in Tarentum
TARENTUM, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a stabbing incident in Tarentum. The local police were alerted to a stabbing in the 100 block of Davidson Street at approximately 6:25 pm on Sunday. The victim, a 26-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Homicide detectives have begun an investigation. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous. McKeesport woman charged in connection with death of man found wrapped in plastic
A McKeesport woman was taken into police custody Tuesday in connection with the murder of Donte Glover, a 36-year-old man who was found dead and wrapped in plastic. Lindsey Jackson, 37, is facing charges of homicide, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence, Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office said. Jackson turned herself in Tuesday afternoon to sheriff’s deputies and will be housed at Allegheny County Jail.
