Ohio police investigating fatal Saturday morning stabbing

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Youngstown Police Department is investigating a homicide Saturday morning.

According to a release from YPD, officers were sent to the 1500 block of Hickory Court just after 1 a.m. for reports that a man was stabbed. Upon arrival, officers found a 26-year-old man in a yard with numerous stab wounds.

Officers rendered aid on scene before EMTs arrived and transported the man to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Detectives and the crime scene unit were called to the scene to investigate.

No arrests have been made at the time of this report.
