Columbus is getting a new breakfast spot this month—Wild Eggs will open their first Columbus location in the Commons at Hamilton Quarter. The Louisville-based breakfast chain offers an “eggciting menu” that has seasonal specials along with breakfast and brunch staples. The restaurant is located at 5912 Old Hamilton Rd., in Columbus. The website said, “Opening in early November! We can’t wait to see you, Columbus.”According to their website, Wild Eggs will open on November 15.

Skyline fans, be on the lookout for something new in the frozen pizza aisle. The local chili chain has brought back its frozen Skyline Chili Cheese Coney Pizza for football season after offering it for one weekend in 2025. The pizza is available while supplies last at select Kroger stores in Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Louisville and Lexington. Inspired by the brand's popular recipe on Instagram , the pizza features Skyline Chili, mustard, onions, cheese and hot dogs. It uses the same cheese and shred found in Skyline restaurants. After months of anticipation, award-winning chef Jeff Harris finally revived his New Orleans restaurant Jimmie Lou’s when it opened to the public on Tuesday night. The prior iteration of Jimmie Lou’s opened in 2021 as a stall inside the Oakley Food Hall. It was the first solo venture for Harris, a Louisiana native who first made a name for himself as the sous chef at Emeril Lagasse’s flagship restaurant before heading to the Queen City after Hurricane Katrina. In 2022, he opened his Global South-focused restaurant Nolia in Over-the-Rhine to much fanfare — Harris and Nolia have three James Beard nominations, among many other awards — but customers kept asking when he’d return to his roots.
