Visibility concern on Fremont roundabout eliminated after 6 News investigation
FREMONT, Neb. (WOWT) - For weeks, a safety concern has been growing in the middle of a roundabout, creating a direct visibility hazard for drivers. “Earlier this year, you could see alright, but now the weeds are grown and you have to look ahead and watch the traffic coming,” said Dana Verbeek, who was driving through the roundabout which connects Highway 77 to Broad Street in Fremont.

OMAHA, Neb. — The Internal Revenue Service announced today tax relief for individuals and businesses in Nebraska that were affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes that began on April 25, 2024. These taxpayers now have until Sept. 3, 2024, to file various federal individual and business tax returns and make tax payments.
