Bergan Catholic High School volleyball coach Sue Wewel is retiring. Wewel started coaching the Lady Knights in 1975 and guided her team to the school’s only state championship and five runner-up finishes. Reilly Peetz, a senior Elementary Education major from North Loup, Nebraska, has always been interested in education. She initially explored other careers like optometry and interior design, but kept returning to teaching. Her mother, a teacher, influenced this decision. Despite initial reluctance, Reilly eventually accepted her interest in education. Now, nearing graduation, she has secured a position as a fourth-grade teacher with Arlington Public Schools for the 2024-25 school year, demonstrating her dedication to her field.
