Harbor Freight Tools opening new location in Wilton

WILTON, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — Harbor Freight Tools, a tool and equipment retailer, is coming to Wilton. The store will be located in the former Bed Bath & Beyond space at 3064 Route 50.

“We’ve been looking to open a location in Saratoga Springs for a number of years so that we can provide the tools and equipment at tremendous values to the community,” said Trey Feiler, Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Construction for Harbor Freight Tools.

Construction has already begun on the new location, said Harbor Freight, and the store is expected to bring 25 to 30 new jobs to the area. If interested, you can apply for a job on the Harbor Freight website .

Harbor Freights sells tools and equipment such as automotive, air, and power tools, storage, outdoor power equipment, generators, welding supplies, shop equipment, hand tools, and more.

Bed Bath & Beyond announced in January that the Wilton store would be closing. This came days after the home goods chain said it had defaulted on its loans. The company has since closed all of its physical locations but still has an online presence.

According to a press release, Harbor Freight in Wilton is expected to open this spring. An official opening date will be announced at a later date.

This will be Harbor Freight’s eighth store in the Capital Region. The company has other locations in Albany, Schenectady , Amsterdam, Catskill, Clifton Park, Queensbury, and Troy.
