Open Street ICT brings community together to support one another

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Open Streets ICT took over the south end of Wichita State University’s campus Sunday.

Almost 2 miles of road, 17th Street from Oliver to Volustia, was closed off for biking, running and walking.

One local artist says that the event is a great way to interact and be a part of the community while also showcasing her work.

“Overall, I feel like it’s been a super, you know, a good experience because, you know, as a community, people want to help support what you have going on, and so being able to be here is a good opportunity,” said Shabree Chatman, a local artist.
