Hawaiian Bros announces opening day in Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Wichita Falls’ latest chain restaurant has announced when they will be opening their doors to the public.

Hawaiian Bros Island Grill confirmed to our newsroom their grand opening is planned for Monday, May 6, 2024.

A soft opening is planned for the weekend leading up to the grand opening, but official details have not been released at this time. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for more information.

Hawaiian Bros Wichita Falls is located at 4301 Kemp Boulevard, the former location of Denny’s.

Denny’s was torn down in January 2024, and Hawaiian Bros announced their plans to move in in October 2023.

Hawaiian Bros features a simplified menu of plate lunches with a choice of chicken and pork dishes. The chain has about 50 locations, mostly in the Midwest and Southwest, with about 20 locations in Texas, with several more on the way.
