    Burglary investigation leads to three arrests

    WHEELING, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Multiple individuals are facing theft and drug related charges in relation to a burglary reported over the weekend.

    According to the Wheeling Police Department, at around 10:00am on Sunday, May 5, 2024, authorities were dispatched to the 2300 block of Chapline Street with regard to an individual wishing to report a residential burglary incident.

    Following interviews with individuals within the residence, law enforcement successfully determined the location of the stolen property in question, along with additional items from burglaries and thefts which had previously been reported in the city.

    Police obtained additional search warrants following the discovery of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.

    Three individuals have been charged as a result of the investigation, including Howard Miller – 54 years old of Wheeling, WV – charged with receiving stolen property

    Kyle Scott Marsh – 38 years old of Wheeling, WV – charged with receiving stolen property and drug possession

    Lawrence William Murray – 50 years old of Wheeling, WV – charged with drug possession and receiving stolen property.
