Filming at Westfield Town Hall: Part of Park Drive Closed Wednesday, Police Say

WESTFIELD, NJ — Portions of Park Drive in Mindowaskin Park will be closed on Wednesday, May 8, from mid-morning through the early evening due to film production activity at Town Hall, Westfield police said in a Nixle alert sent Tuesday evening.

During that time, Park Drive will be open to vehicles from Mountain Avenue to Euclid Avenue only, police said, and no cars will be permitted between the traffic circle and the park entrance on East Broad Street.

Police officers will be present to redirect cars, police said.

Access to the playground at Mindowaskin Park will remain unrestricted.

Those who need to access Town Hall for tax payments or other purposes will be able to enter from the parking lot entrance off of East Broad Street, closest to the Recreation Department, police said.

Street parking will also be permitted on Euclid Avenue and East Broad Street, police said.
