On Saturday afternoon and evening the creamery offered kids free ice cream cones to those who donated non-perishable food items from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Andrew Fondakowski Treasurer of Northside Creamery told 22News this event is a great opportunity to bring the community together for a great cause.

“One can, from everybody make a difference as a whole, that’s the whole point of the campaign,” said Andrew Fondakowski, Treasurer of Northside Creamery.

At the time of his interview with 22News, Fondakowski said even if the turnout isn’t what they had hoped, Northside Creamery will cover the rest of the donations.
